My Summer 2020 Bucket List

Summer Newsletter.png

🎵Summer lovin, happened so fast, summer lovin, had me a blast 🎵

For some reason, every year when Summer rolls around, I can’t help but think of Grease and it’s memorable opening scene as Olivia Newton John and John Travolta sing about their amazing Summer together. What an iconic movie with its get stuck-in-your-head soundtrack.

If the thought of Summer this year makes you feel **blah** given that it will look a little different, I challenge you to shift your thinking.

To make sure that Summer 2020 isn’t one that we look back on and wish it had gone differently, Rod & I sat down to make our Summer bucket list. Here’s what we came up with:

☀️Backyard bonfires with friends(with all the s’mores please)

☀️Morning walks at our local park up the street

☀️Kayaking(we’ve never tried before but we’re willing to give it a go)

☀️Drive-in movies

☀️Hiking with Sampson

☀️Staying overnight at one of those cabins in the woods(without any of the creepy serial killers like you see in the movies)

☀️Hanging out on all the patios(while social distancing)

Ready to make your summer bucket list now too?!  Don’t leave it to chance that this Summer will look the way you want it too. Anything worth having takes time, planning and attention, which means you need to roll up your sleeves, put pen to paper and start documenting what you want your Summer plans to look like.

A few questions to ask yourself as you make your list:

-How do you want to feel this Summer?

-What people do you want to spend time with?

-What’s one new thing you can try that puts you out of your comfort zone?

-If you closed your eyes and visualized what you would do this Summer, what do you see?

Different doesn’t have to mean bad. Different can be beautiful and wondrous too. Cheers to making Summer 2020 one of your best summers yet.
